Why Do Haters hate? (7 Reasons Why.)

Some people are not as fortunate as you are to be blessed with a loving spirit. In the absence of a loving spirit is hateful spirit. So, Haters hate because of lack of a loving spirit. That's not the only reason of course. I will list them below.

But before that, I am sure when you read this title, a picture of some hater in your life crossed your mind. *Laughs*  And you were even more curious to know why they just don't like you. You are not alone. It happens to everyone actually. There's bound to be someone out there that won't like you. No matter how much you give or do to the person. They don't even WANT to like you.

So the seven reasons;

--* They are Jealous

That was quite obvious right? Usually the reason why your hater hates you is because he or she's been afflicted with the green eyed monster's disease called Jealousy.

Everybody gets jealous. It's absolutely normal. And it's healthy to an extent because you get to know how to improve yourself in perceived unsuccessful areas. But when jealousy gets much and is not controlled, it can lead you start to hate the object of your jealousy. Moderacy is key, as always. So, your hater is likely very super jealous of you. Maybe you have that car and he or she doesn't have, so they start to hate. It's jealousy. You have what they don't have, and they don't like it. So, they start to hate.

--* They are insecure.

Maybe they're suffering from low self esteem issues or whatsoever. And they don't know how to handle these feelings or deal with them, so they convert it to hatred. They are low self esteemed, so they see you in all of your radiance and all their negative thoughts about how they're not living up to standard start to plague them. They start to feel insecure. Out of insecurities comes hatred. And there, they start to hate.

--* You achieve things they can't.

Some people just start to hate because they believe there's no way, absolutely no way in this world, you can do great things in this world and they haven't done anything yet. They're irritated, then they want to just hate you. So, they do.

--* Because they are not happy with themselves.

It's a pity really. And we really should pity them. They feel their life is not what they want it to be. So, they're unhappy. And so they feel other people's lives shouldn't be good either. And if it's good, they start to hate.

--* Because you're not like them.

Your haters would like you if your life was like theirs. So, you could lament about how annoying life is together. But when they notice that your life is so different from theirs, they start to wonder what makes you deserve a better life than theirs. Why your life is not like theirs? And snap! They start to hate. They roll their eyes at your achievements.

--* Because you're way out of their league.

And they can't catch up. Because you're too fast. You're doing you, and excelling at it. And they can't meet up.

--* Because they just don't want to LIKE you.

Simple as that. Some people just choose to hate you for no valid reason. You've probably heard that one can love another person deeply and not be able to pin point why. So does hatred. Sometimes someone just hates you because they don't WANT to like you. At all.

But, for whatever reason they might hate you, keep being you. You are your best gift. Your sense of identity and uniqueness is also a gift to the world.

Don't let anyone make you believe you are not worth success. Some people just want to pull people down. Knowing that someone hates you can be disturbing. But keep your head high. Remember those who love you and think of the beautiful things they've done to make you special. And quickly you'll forget haters.

Because really, who has time for them?

  1. Some great points here. I always knew that haters were just insecure with themselves thats why they hate on everyone else. I never really though about some of these other points like being out of their league.

  2. I think that a lot of hatred stems from jealousy or there own insecurities. Haters can make us feel horrible but we need to remember that they are hurting too x

  3. Haters are always gonna hate, but i find if I'm being hated on I see it as a compliment, to me they are hating on me because I'm doing something right, something they want to put me or keep me down for.

    1. Yes exactly. Their aim is to pull others down. It's one's job to not let that happen.

  4. On point I must say. Gone through some real bad experiences..kept on thinking about them for a long time and realized how fucked up such people are and hurt that they want to inflict the same on you to drag you to their level. It's an itch they can't stop and along the way they scratch everyone better.

    1. Haters' main objective is to make others be like them. It's a pity really.

  5. Why does there even have to be haters in the world? I don't get it. I think the real root cause of hate is envy. They can't have what you have, they can't be like you, they cannot achieve what you achieved. I mean, don't they realize that whatever other people have right now is because they worked hard for it!

  6. Absolutely, there is no time for haters! I remember when I was younger, in primary school and some of the other girls would tease me because I was good at sports. It just seemed so ridiculous to me! I often fail to understand why people can't just be happy for others. Everyone is good at something after all!

  10. That last one is unique. But I do think that there is a lot of truth to that sometimes. There are some people out there who just do not want to like you no matter what you do. And that's hard to live with but it's certainly true.

  11. I wish I'd had posts like this when I was being bullied throughout School and University! We just called them Bullies not Haters but they're the same anyway. My Mum always used to say "They're just jealous and insecure, just ignore them" it's hard when you're a target for hate or bullying though. Great post! Sharing on Twitter!

  12. Amen to this. SO many people take out their frustrations with themselves on others. I 've found that killing them with kindness really does work and eventually if you can't be friends, at the very least, they will start leaving you out of their hateful rants.

  13. In y experience a lot of the time it can be jealousy. Jealous people are not normally happy in their own lives hence the jealousy. It's best not to waste time worry about these types as they will never be happy and drag others down with them.

  14. Haters have nothing better to do and I learned to stop listening and caring about them. We simply cannot please everyone and my life is mine and would rather not live for anybody! The reason they don't accomplish things is that they're just too busy hating on people instead of focusing on themselves.

  17. Sadly, we live in a world filled with haters and our best way to counter the hate is to get on with living our best lives and not let them drag us down. Another thing about being hateful is that it is toxic to the system and, like any toxic drug, it is a hard habit to kick.

  18. haters are gonna hate. Some people are jealous but they admire so the outcome is not so nice but only frustration for them that they express through hateful emotions towards the person they admire.
